Rick's Way of Thanking His Supportive Friends

Every time Rick is asked, how he is as a friend, he readily says that he loves his friends as if they are family. He is not lying when he says such things as all his friends can attest to that. Before Rick got married to Lucy, he lived on his own. He knew that his chances for a better kind of life were much better in the city than in his little hometown. So he left his hometown, even without the blessing and the support of his parents. Rick was determined to make a difference in his life. With pure determination, Rick got into a manufacturing company as a staff and slowly, he climbed up the career ladder of success. It was not always easy, but he had the strong support of his friends who stood by him through thick and thin. Now that Rick lives a very comfortable life, he never fails to give presents for friends, especially on special occasions. For Rick, it's his own way of thanking them for all the help they had given him before.
